Erik turned 6 months yesterday - where has time gone? 🙈 can’t believe my little baby is already half a year old. . His favourite things at the moment are: rolling onto his belly, eating banana flavoured porridge, rolling laughter, attempting to crawl in a swimming motion but staying put, dancing with mommy, going for a walk as he sits up in his stroller, being read to while analysing the pictures, and listening to daddy nerd over Game of Thrones 🤓⚔️👑🥣🍌📚 . . ✨swipe left for more images of Erik. Today is my first Mother’s Day as a mom, actually it’s our first Mother’s Day ✨ . Erik, during the past 5 and a half months you taught me the meaning of unconditional love. Through sleepless nights, very messy diaper changes, painful hair yanking, and spit up constantly finding its way to my clothes - I think you are the most adorable being to have ever walked this earth. . I have watched you grow and change, your big personality shining through more and more each day. Your kind eyes and big smile lighting up my world. . You are my constant, lovely, joyful reminder of all that is good. You are so much more than I ever could have hoped for, and more wonderful than I ever dreamed. . AD | Trying to live more sustainably has been an important part of my life for the past 3 years - and now that Erik has come along it has become even more important! Having a baby has given me an appreciation for life and the world on a whole new level. The number one priority is to keep children safe and happy, and the single most important (and basic!) thing to that end is of course to pass on a liveable planet to the next generation. While adults need to urgently take responsibility and action against climate change, it is also essential that we teach our little ones about taking care of the beautiful world in which we all live. One great book for teaching kids about this is the new book by the green energy leader @orsted “Is This my Home?”, an engaging and colourful story that is interesting for the whole family. .
