BERG + BETTS is a sustainable watch brand based in Canada that crafts their watches from surplus leather off cuts which would otherwise go to waste.
Since watch straps require a small amount of leather, BERG + BETTS are able to collect those small “new” pieces of designer leather from factories around the world. The brand believes that beauty and sustainability go hand in hand, and that one does not need to compromise on a beautiful or well-made product by purchasing sustainably. BERG + BETTS’ mission is “to provide you with eco-friendly products that are sophisticated, responsible, and affordable.”
BERG + BETTS believe in transparent supply chains and take the working conditions of their suppliers seriously. All of their designs are assembled by their team in Canada and, according to the brand’s website, all of their watch parts are ethically crafted in the city of Dongguan, about 75km from Hong Kong.
Their suppliers have been carefully chosen and are members of Sedex, a non-profit organisation dedicated to driving improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains. According to BERG + BETTS, their suppliers are audited regularly on their labour standards, health and safety, environmental responsibility, and business ethics.
This lovely watch features a rose gold stainless steel case, with an eggshell face, rose gold markers and a sustainable blush pink leather band. It has Japanese Quartz movement and water resistance of 3ATM. This watch comes in several other colours that are just as stunning as this one!
I absolutely love the combination of blush pink and rose gold, it will go well with every summer outfit and stand out against my (soon to be) tanned skin! You can purchase this beautiful BERG + BETTS watch HERE.
