Mother’s day gifts for the sustainable woman

With Mother’s Day around the corner I have listed a few gift ideas that any mother would absolutely love!

You may be paying a little more for this basic piece but it is worth it in the long run. Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides or fertilisers, thus making it a safer working environment for those working in the fields (cotton is still hand picked in many countries). Buying organic cotton also prevents contributing to water pollution, which comes from the aforementioned toxins that seep into the water system. Choosing to buy organic cotton is a healthy choice not only because it’s better for the environment, if you are wearing something against your skin you don’t want to absorb those toxic chemicals that went into the manufacturing process.

The best part is that their perfumes can be combined to create bespoke scents! With several scents you will be able to mix and match, leading you in the long run to purchase less perfume.

I absolutely love this bag! I have owned one now for the last 5 years or so and it is still in perfect condition. It is the perfect weekend travel bag – has lots of room, is lightweight, durable, and dust resistant. Highly recommended!
