I have teamed up with the talented Illustrating Sarah to give away this beautiful framed illustration. Sarah has studied Illustration at Parsons Paris and New York and has worked in the fashion and jewellery industry until she decided to go down the freelance route. She constantly works with mixed media and always wants to try something new.
The piece, called “Generation Y” depicts the generation that experienced the growth of technology, and encourages one to remember a past that our future won’t have, unless we stay in touch with nature. The illustration has been done on acid free hand-made paper by women in India. The frame is made up of “laminated wood” – wood scraps that have been chipped into tiny pieces and then glued together to create a solid piece. This is such a stunning and meaningful piece to decorate any home!
